Grandma's Rice Pudding

 
Boil 3/4 cup rice in salted water until tender
Drain
Put 2 cups raisins in pan and cover with water and bring to boil.  Boil 5 minutes until plump.
Drain
Butter a 2 qt bowl well and add rice.  Put raisins on top of rice. DO NOT STIR.
Beat 4 eggs with 3/4 cup sugar. Add 3 cups milk and 3 t vanilla mix well.
Pour over rice/raisins. DO NOT STIR (or raisins will sink)
Sprinkle top with cinnamon. 
Bale at 300 degrees until set (knife comes out clean) Approx 90 minutes.
