Ok, I think it's finally time to slow down, well for just a few minutes that is. As you know, we were on the road for over 30 days, and awesome days they were, but let's face it, there is no place like home!

We were not even fully unpacked, before an amazing week of BBDs unfolded, with both Lee and Gary LeVox each scoring a monster Iowa buck.

It was an exciting week, and we loved having the whole crew in town working hard, including our Crush producer Marc Baird.

As soon as the crew left to head back home, my mom & I treated ourselves to a long overdue visit to MSP, to see the hair Guru & friend Lisa. She takes such good care of us! My mom (Linda) and I had a blast and we were finally able to relax for a day or two.

Now don't get me wrong, because we love all our boys and crew out here, but it sure is nice to spend some time at home & in a tree with Lee. We just started hunting together and it's simply my favorite time, to just be able to sit in a tree together. After all, it's how all of this got started, right?! = )

We've been seeing some great bucks but so far haven't gotten lucky. So much for Lee's lucky watch & lucky Scent Lok suit. Maybe our good luck was from Gary. Guess we'll need him back up here so he can shoot his doe.
Fingers are crossed for a BBD! It's still my turn!
