The location was Hancock County IL. Marc Baird, The Crush Producer was hunting with Dennis Wilborn of Wilborn Outdoors and Two Rivers Outfitters 1-800-337-3878.1-800-337-3878

The weather was consistently changing but mostly it was fairly warm and sunny.

Marc Baird and cameraman Matt DeLong get ready
in 74 degree weather.

Never warn the deer that u are coming it just might jinx ya.
November 9th a nice Illinois 10 Point walks in at 22 yards.

10 point at 22 yards coming into scrape.

Marc comes to full draw and buck sees the movement
and starts walking away.

Buck walks to 32 yards and Marc guessed him to be 40 yards
away.
Marc learned one important thing from this trip.
If you have a big buck ranged and he starts to walk away
from you remember to count his steps. Every 2 steps equals one yard,
that way you will not have to play a guessing game and shoot over a deer
like Marc did.

Arrow flies over bucks back!

Marc wanting to cry after miss.
When Marc went down to get his arrow he realizes that it was not
a wasted trip after all. As he pulled his arrow out of the ground he
finds that his G5 Tekan did put a BWD in the ground.

Marc finds a worm at the end of his broadhead...
He can now go fishing and maybe put some food on the table
for his family.
As Marc went back home to Michigan empty handed he was very thankful to the Main family,
Tom, Sherri, Reece and Mackenna for their hospitality.

Reece Main and Mitchell Kissenger...
